Integrity Air Conditioning was in Richardson this week, replacing an evaporator coil for a customer. Although we are in the last week of October, homes in the Dallas area still need working air conditioning for comfort.
Our experienced tech Seth Green implemented the evaporator coil replacement. The evaporator coil in this unit was located in the attic. This added an extra degree of difficulty to the replacement; Seth was well qualified for the task.
Air Conditioner Evaporator Coil Replacement
An evaporator coil replacement is one of the most significant central air conditioning repairs. Not only is it an expensive part – some coils can also be hard to access, depending on the model. Replacing a coil requires extensive labor. The evaporator coil is located inside or near the air handler and the blower fan.
Now the Dallas area homeowner can look forward to cool air conditioned days into December – and next spring and summer!
