Dallas Central Air Conditioning Systems
The most effective way to keep your home cool in North Texas!
How Central Air Conditioning Systems Work
Central air conditioning systems rely on a refrigerant to “pump” heat from inside your house to outside. When the refrigerant compound is allowed to expand and change from a liquid into a vapor, it gives up a great deal of heat — just like perspiration does when it evaporates from your skin.
The evaporator coil in the HVAC system is cooled by this phase change. A blower in your central air conditioning system’s air handler forces warm interior air through the evaporator, cooling it before it enters the ducts that distribute the air throughout the house.
Energy Efficient Air Conditioners Save Money
If your central air conditioning unit is more than 12 years old, replacing it with an ENERGY STAR® qualified model could cut your cooling costs by 30%.
Integrity Air Conditioning can provide a free air conditioning estimate for replacing old, inefficient air conditioning systems with advanced equipment that will save energy – and improve interior comfort.
What is SEER Rating? Higher SEER = Save More Money
The most efficient central air conditioners of 2016 initially cost more than less efficient units, depending on the SEER ratings of the air conditioners being compared.
In our Dallas climate, the higher cost of an energy efficient A/C is typically recovered in one to three years. For example, if you have a 10 SEER unit (meaning it is 15+ years old) and replace it with a 20 SEER air conditioner, cooling costs will decrease by 50%.
Replacing a 13 SEER model with a 20 SEER air conditioner will reduce costs by 35%.
Note: SEER = Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating, the rating of how efficient an air conditioner is over the course of an entire cooling season. The higher the SEER, the more efficient the unit is.
An air conditioning upgrade, along with other measures to save energy – such as sealing and insulating ducts, and upgrading attic insulation – creates big savings on utility bills.

Dallas Area Central Air Conditioning Installation
Now is the time to replace your old central air unit with an efficient and high-quality central air conditioner.
We install central A/C systems in Dallas, Plano, Garland, Mesquite, Rockwall and neighboring cities and towns in the Dallas area.
Many homes with central air conditioning have a standard “split” system. An outdoor unit that rests on a concrete pad; and a separate indoor unit that’s connected to the ductwork system.
The interior part of a central air conditioning system includes a drain line for the moisture that condenses out of the interior air as it is cooled.
